Terms of Use
By downloading, installing, or using Jett Log ("the app") you agree to these Terms of Use ("Terms"). If you don't agree, don't use the app.
The service
Jett Log helps owner-pilots log flights and export a filled year-end tax workbook. The math follows the standard aircraft flight-log workbook the app was built against. Nothing in this app is tax, legal, or accounting advice. Every figure you see is a calculation for a tax professional to review before you file.
Your account
- You must be at least 18 years old and legally able to enter into a contract.
- You're responsible for keeping your sign-in email accessible and for anything logged under your account.
- One tenant per business. If you sell, retire, or transfer an aircraft, keep your prior records but update the app.
Your responsibilities
- Enter accurate information. Jett Log does not verify identifiers, Hobbs times, or occupant categories.
- Review every figure with a tax professional before using it on a tax return.
- Comply with all applicable aviation and tax regulations for the flights you log — this app doesn't do that for you.
Subscription and billing
- Jett Log offers a free first month via Apple's App Store introductory offer, followed by an auto-renewing monthly subscription. Pricing is shown in the app before purchase.
- If a subscription lapses you retain read-only access to your existing flights and the year-end workbook export; only new flight logging is locked until you renew.
- Subscriptions are billed by the App Store, not by us. Manage or cancel through your device's subscription settings. Refunds follow each store's policy.
Acceptable use
Don't:
- Reverse-engineer, decompile, or copy the app.
- Attempt to access data belonging to other tenants.
- Use the app to launder tax documentation you know to be false.
- Interfere with the service's operation.
Intellectual property
The app, its interface, and all associated content (except your entered data) are ours. Your flight data belongs to you; we hold a limited license to store and process it so we can run the service.
Availability
We try to keep the service running but don't promise 100% uptime. Planned maintenance windows may occur without notice. If a Supabase or Apple outage prevents access, we'll do our best to communicate.
Disclaimers
The app is provided "as is" and "as available." To the fullest extent permitted by law we disclaim all warranties, express or implied, including merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, non-infringement, and any warranty that calculated figures match a specific tax outcome.
Limitation of liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, our total aggregate liability arising out of or relating to the app is limited to the amount you paid us in the twelve months prior to the claim, or one hundred US dollars ($100.00), whichever is greater. We are not liable for indirect, incidental, consequential, special, or exemplary damages, including lost tax deductions, IRS penalties, or loss of profits.
Indemnity
You agree to defend and indemnify us against claims arising from your use of the app, your violation of these Terms, or your violation of law.
Termination
You may stop using the app at any time. We may suspend or terminate access if you violate these Terms or if we discontinue the service; if we discontinue the service, we'll give at least 30 days notice so you can export your data.
Governing law and disputes
These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Georgia (excluding its conflict-of-laws rules). Disputes will be resolved in the state or federal courts located in Fulton County, Georgia, and you consent to the personal jurisdiction of those courts.
Changes
We'll notify you in-app or by email when we update these Terms materially. Continued use after the effective date means you accept the changes.
